Vedic Culture

An excellent source of Veda recitation is the artist ``Ved Vrind,'' published with Strumm Entertainment Ltd. in 2015. The album title is ``Sama Veda: Essential Selections.'' It is a very difficult art to master, with all the proper accents and emphases. Almost as tough as `sight reading' musical notation (Western).

The Vedic language is one of the oldest languages, and a part of the Indo-European language family. Consider the word for fire, agni in Sanskrit and ignis in European languages. The similarity is striking and has been studied extensively. The study of the Vedas should therefore be promoted throughout South Asia, not just for literacy but also for heritage and modern science.

We are investigating the possibility of Vedic mathematics used in machine learning and AI. Our present results indicate a 50 percent speedup by Vedic methods when used for polynomial differentiation for about 30 percent of the polynomials tested.

We are preparing a Vedic Sanskrit taxonomy for astrophysical objects and chemical elements.
